Load balancer reduces the damaging effect of this spreading these reviews out across future study sessions so that you save both your time (and sanity) by avoiding a review day from hell. Suddenly you have double (or triple) the number of reviews to do! Say you’re studying from a huge deck (like Anking’s Step 1 deck) for example, that can be a problem.
